From high up in the back of a camel cart you can see thousands of camels all around that are for sale.
Looking down there is a camel hitched to a camel cart, camels far off are drinking from a
water trough and a woman in green is bending over gathering up camel droppings for fuel.
Another long day of camel trading is about over as the sun is setting and the camels are fed.
People light up fires using cow and camel droppings to cook their evening
meals as they settle down for the night surrounded by camels.
Nighttime falls in this vast open wasteland, there are thousands of camels sleeping along
with some people in tents, out in the open, and under camel carts. Closer to town and along
the streets there are also people sleeping anywhere they can find room
as the event comes to a close.
From this small hill above the commotion of camels being bought and sold you get
beautiful views all around. This is the place to be when evening is approaching and everything
is winding down for the day. From here people sit drinking shi and watching the
sun sink below the horizon in the amber glow of smoke and dust.
